36、Standardare: a) technicalknowledgerelatingtotheoperationandmanagementoftheparticulartypeofcraneorslinging techniquesforwhichthepersonistobeauthorizedtoassessapplicants;and b) abilitytojudgecompetenciesagainstprescribedstandards. 4.1.3 Thecompetencieswhichanoperator/drivershallpossessbeforebeingautho
37、rizedtooperateacraneor hoistareatechnicalknowledgeandpracticalcapabilityrelatingtothecorrectandsafeoperationoftheparticular typeofcrane(see5.3.1inISO12480-1:1997). 4.1.4 Thecompetencieswhichaslingershallpossessbeforebeingauthorizedasaslingerare: a) theapplicationofslingingtechniquesand b) thecapabil
38、itytodirectthecranedriver(operator). 4.1.5 Thecompetencywhichasignallershallpossessbeforebeingauthorizedasasignalleristheapplicationof signallingmethods.ISO15513:2000(E) 4 4.2 Writtenassessment Wheretheassessmentprocessincludesawrittenassessmentpaper,thefollowingcriteriashallbeobserved. a) Thewritte
39、nassessmentshouldbeconstructedtonotexceedadurationof60min. b) Sufficienttimeshallbegiventoacandidatetocompletethetest. NOTE Iftheassessorbecomesawarethecandidatehasawritten-languagedeficiency,additionaltimemaybepermittedto completethepaper. c) Assistancemaybegiventothecandidatewithawritten-languaged
