36、Standardare: a) technicalknowledgerelatingtotheoperationandmanagementoftheparticulartypeofcraneorslinging techniquesforwhichthepersonistobeauthorizedtoassessapplicants;and b) abilitytojudgecompetenciesagainstprescribedstandards. 4.1.3 Thecompetencieswhichanoperator/drivershallpossessbeforebeingautho

37、rizedtooperateacraneor hoistareatechnicalknowledgeandpracticalcapabilityrelatingtothecorrectandsafeoperationoftheparticular typeofcrane(see5.3.1inISO12480-1:1997). 4.1.4 Thecompetencieswhichaslingershallpossessbeforebeingauthorizedasaslingerare: a) theapplicationofslingingtechniquesand b) thecapabil

38、itytodirectthecranedriver(operator). 4.1.5 Thecompetencywhichasignallershallpossessbeforebeingauthorizedasasignalleristheapplicationof signallingmethods.ISO15513:2000(E) 4 4.2 Writtenassessment Wheretheassessmentprocessincludesawrittenassessmentpaper,thefollowingcriteriashallbeobserved. a) Thewritte

39、nassessmentshouldbeconstructedtonotexceedadurationof60min. b) Sufficienttimeshallbegiventoacandidatetocompletethetest. NOTE Iftheassessorbecomesawarethecandidatehasawritten-languagedeficiency,additionaltimemaybepermittedto completethepaper. c) Assistancemaybegiventothecandidatewithawritten-languaged

40、eficiency.Anypersonrenderingsuch assistanceshallnotpromptthecandidatenorhelpthecandidateinanyotherway.Ifthecandidatehaslimited literacyskills,theanswersmaybeacceptedorally.Inthiscasetheassessorshallrecordallanswers.Insome certificateclasses,specificliteracyskillsarerequiredtomeetthecompetencies,i.e.

41、estimationorcalculation ofloadsorreadingofaloadchart.Inthesesituations,oralassistanceshallnotberendered. d) Thecandidateshallbesuitablyproficientinthelanguagetobeabletoreadthequestionssetinthe assessmentwithoutassistance. e) Thecandidateshallexpressthetechnicalrequirementsfortheassessmentinamannerin

42、whichtheycanbe correctlyinterpreted.Incorrectspellingorgrammarshallnotprejudicetheresultoftheassessment. f) Ifadditionaltimeorassistancehasbeenpermitted,thisshallbeclearlystated,withthereason,onthe AssessmentReport. 4.3 Oralassessment Wherethecandidatehaslimitedspokenabilityofthelanguageoftheassessm

43、ent,theassessorshouldprovide additionalexplanation,withoutcompromisingtheassessment,atalevelappropriatetotheworkandequipment. 4.4 Results Inordertobeconsidered“Competent”,thecandidatesshallachievesufficientmarksineveryareaandsectionto demonstratecompetence.Acandidatewhodoesnotattainsucharesultshallb
