22、f booths, acoustics and other aspects of portable physical environment for simultaneous interpretation. It further refines and enchances the requirements of IS0 4043-1 981, Booths for simultaneous interpretation - Mobile booths - General characteristics and equipment. Prepared by/Prepar b. a line of

23、 sight between the individual booths and between the booths and the conference hall; c. a comfortable working environment allowing the interpreters to maintain the intense effort of concentration required by their work. Designed for temporary service in a variety of locations, portable booths should

24、 be flexible in use and of rugged, yet lightweight construction. They should provide optimum sound-insulation properties. In selecting a facility in which to install a portable booth, the user should seek advice from suppliers of such equipment, conference interpreters and/or authorities, experience

25、d in technical consultation in this field. One booth is sufficient for two languages; at least one booth for each language is required for multilingual operations. The booths shall be located so that each interpreter and operator has a comfortable unobstructed view of the conference room, the princi

26、pal participants and visual aids (projection screens, blackboard, maps, flip charts). Closed circuit television (CCTV) may be considered where it is necessary to augment the view of important elements of a conference. Any mullion posts that may be necessary shall be as narrow as possible and shall n

27、ot be in the central field of view of any working position. Where the booths are at the same elevation as the conference room, the use of platforms of a minimum height of 200mm should be contemplated to provide the interpreters with an unobstructed view of the conference area. A clear space of 2m sh

28、all be provided between the front of the booth(s) and the nearest participants. This will prevent the participants from being disturbed by voices from the booth(s) and will provide an improved view for the interpreters. The booths shall be grouped both to facilitate cabling, and for visual contact b

29、etween them. An access passage to the booths at least 1 m wide shall be provided. Conues pour un service provisoire dans des lieux trs divers, les cabines transportables doivent pouvoir tre utilises avec souplesse et tre de construction robuste. Elles doivent tre constitues de matria

32、ux lgers et prsenter des caractristiques optimales disolation acoustique. En choisissant une salle pour y installer des cabines transportables, lutilisateur doit faire appel aux conseils techniques des fournisseurs de telles installations, des interprtes de confrence eVou des autorits comptentes dan

33、s le domaine. Une seule cabine suffit pour linterprtation partir de deux langues. Pour linterprtation partir de plusieurs langues, il faut au moins une cabine pour chaque langue. Les cabines doivent tre situes de faon que chaque interprte et technicien aient une vue globale de la salle de confrence,

34、 des principaux participants et des accessoires visuels (crans de projection, tableaux noirs, cartes, tableaux-papier). La tlvision en circuit ferm peut tre utilise pour assurer une bonne vue de certains lments importants dune confrence. Les montants ventuels doivent tre aussi troits que possible et

35、 ne doivent pas tre situs dans le champ de vision central dun poste de travail. Si la cabine est au mme niveau que la salle de confrence, il faut prvoir une plate-forme dau moins 200 mm de hauteur afin dassurer une vue globale de la salle de confrence. Un dgagement de 2 m doit tre prvu entre lavant

36、de la cabine dinterprte et les participants les plus proches pour viter que les participants ne soient drangs par le bruit des voix provenant de la cabine et pour amliorer la visibilit des interprtes. Les cabines doivent tre groupes pour permettre des contacts visuels et faciliter le cblage dune cab

Each booth shall accommodate the required number of interpreters seated in comfort side by side (to cater for large teams with numerous language combinati

39、ons requiring more than one outgoing language). Each booth shall be sufficiently wide to allow occupants to enter and leave without disturbing one another, and high and deep enough to provide adequate volume. 3.9 3.10 Cable passage openings in side and/or front panels of the booths should be a minim

40、um of 4Ox80mm and should be closed with suitable soundproofing materials. Cables shall be arranged neatly tied in bundles, placed in such a way as not to be obstructive to personnel during performance of their duties. The colour scheme in the booth should be suitable for the restricted working space

41、. Dark colours shall not be used. Matt finishes shall be used for all surfaces and equipment in the booth. 3.11 4. 44、m et doivent tre obstrues avec un matriau insonorisant aprs linsertion des cbles. Les cbles doivent tre regroups de faon ne pas gner le personnel dans lexercice de ses fonctions. Pour la cabine, il faut choisir des couleurs qui conviennent un lieu de travail de dimensions restreintes. II faut viter

45、les couleurs fonces. Toutes les surfaces et lquipement de la cabine doivent avoir un fini mat. 47、er des ferrures de porte peu bruyantes. Door locks, if used, must allow rapid exit from the booths. Low-noise door fittings shall be used. 4.3 Windows - Each booth shall have front and side windows. Front windows shall be across the full width of the booth. The minimum height of the pane shall be 70

48、0 mm and its lower edge shall be 100 mm above the work surface. Side windows shall be provided of the same height and shall extend from the front window for a length of 600mm along the partition. Front and side windows shall be untinted, clean and free from scratches which may impair the visibility. Vitrages - Chaque cabine doit comporter un vitrage frontal et des vitrages latraux.
