CCSB specifications are developed to state the particular requirements of a government or an industry for a material, a roduct, or a service. A specification also states the pFocedures to etermine if the

Unlike a CGSB standard, a CGSB specification may lack any, one or any combination of the followin factors: broad applicataon, committee balance, representation of al! vital interests or consensus approval. CCSB specifications are sub t to review and revision at any time,

7、 BO as to ensure that they gp abreast of technological progress. Suggestions for their improvement, which are always welcome, should be brought to the notice of the committee concerned. Changes to specifications are issued either as separate amendment sheets or in new editions of specifications. An

Containers shall be in

44、good condition, free from rust, corrosion or other defects. The peanut butter shall possess a typical colour of roasted peanuts without the offtones created by under or over roasting. It shall be free from any defects and shall possess a good flavour and aroma, typical of freshly roasted peanuts, fr

45、ee from staleness, rancidity, and objectionable flavour or odour of any kind. The peanut butter shall be free from inorganic residue and fairly free from particles of brown-to-black seed coat and scorched or discoloured peanut tissue. It shall be properly stabilized to minimize oil separation. DETAI

46、L REQUIREMENTS The peanut butter shall consist of not less than 90% peanuts. Smooth textured peanut butter, shall have a very even texture, with no perceptible grainy peanut particles. Chunky or crunchy textured peanut butter, shall consist of smooth textured peanut butter and grainy particles or ch

47、unks. The grainy particles or chunks shall not be less than 1.5 mm in diameter, and shall constitute not less than 15% and not more than 25% of the mass. No additives shall be included, other than salt, sweetening ingredients, monoglycerides, hydrogenated andior unmodified vegetable oils. PREPARATIO

48、N FOR DELIVERY The peanut butter shall be supplied in containers of the following sites as specified (8.1): 250, 375, 500 and 750 g and 1, 1.5 and 2 kg. Unless otherwise specified (par. 8.1), normal commercial practice of packaging, labelling and marking shall apply. INSPECTION Sampllng - Sampling for inspection shall be at the discretion of the inspecting authority unless a specific sampling plan has been specified (par. 8.1). NOTES Options - The following options must be specified in the application of this specification
