41、utting, prepare the specimens according to the ASTM D 2594 procedure and then determine the stretch percentages under a load of 10 g/mm width of fabric specimen. If insufficient material is available for specimens from a single garment, specimens may be cut from fabric of the same type and with the

42、same characteristics and properties as the garrnends) to be tested. When using such supplementary material, first determine whether the fabric of the of the garment($ has the courses or the wales parallel to the horizontal direction of the intended wear position, and then cut the test specimens with

43、 their long dimension parallel to that direction. The designation of size is to be indicated by the appropriate Size Code or Size Indicator Body Dimensions or both NOTES Application of Garment Dimensions - Before this dimensional standard is used

45、 as a basis for a manu- facturers pattern, it should be decided if any of the minimum dimensions in Table 2 should be exceeded to provide for the style of garment. Such changes may be made within the requirements of this standard. The Reference Body Dimensions in Table 3 have been extracted from bod
