44、e lighting loads to various intensities. Phase cut dimmer a control unit that produces a forward phase (leading edge) AC waveform. This dimmer output waveform is supplied to one or more LLEs. The conduction angle of the waveform is adjustable.Type I dimmer a dimmer in which the ON-OFF function is in

45、dependent of the output voltage setting.Type II dimmer a dimmer in which the ON-OFF function can be operated at the minimum output voltage setting only.Type III dimmer a dimmer incorporating solid-state components to provide one or more pre- established settings (but not an infinite number of positi

46、ons of control).LED light engine or lamp (LLE) a combination of one electronic control gear and one or more LED modules. The gear and LED modules may be integrated into a single unit.Solid-state lighting control (control) a device intended to control power flow to a lighting load by means of a devic

47、e such as a thyristor, magnetic amplifier, or similar device.4 General requirements4.1 GeneralGeneral requirements applicable to this Standard are given in CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.4.2 Rating4.2.1 Dimmers shall be rated in V ac, 60 Hz, and watts. The wattage rating shall be not less than 300 W and shall

48、be a whole number multiple of 100 W, except for dimmers intended for use with portable luminaires, where the minimum shall be not less than 150 W. 49、24.2.2 A lighting control intended for general use with electronic ballasts, self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamps, and LED drivers, having a rated current (steady-state current) and rated voltage in accordance with Table 2, shall be marked in accordance with Clause 6.1(d).5 Construction5.1 General5.1.1 Electric component parts of lighting controls shall be of a type specifically approved for the use intended or shall be investigated as an integral part of, and with, the lighting control.5.1.2 When electrical equipment covered by a part
