30、que and construction schedule, and the choice and deployment of equipment shall be left to the contractor. 3.1.3 Work on diaphragm walling shall only be begun when confirmation has been given that the requirements of the respective federal state (Land) relating to the investigation of and, where rel

31、evant, clearance of unexploded ordnance have been met. 3.1.4 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any discrepancies between the condition of the working platform and the specifications, any discrepancies between the condition of the groun

32、d on site and the specifications, inadequate stability of the diaphragm wall due to the prescribed length of the individual panels. 3.1.5 Any endangered structures shall be protected in conformity with DIN 4123. The instructions of the owners or other authorized persons shall be observed with regard

33、 to any protective or precautionary measures. The necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). DIN 18313:2016-09 11 3.1.6 Should unexpected cavities or obstructions be encountered, such as undeclared pipes, cables, drains, sewers, survey marks, remains of structures, boulders, etc.

34、, the client shall be notified immediately. The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. The work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). If the obstructions are suspected to be unexploded ordnance, the work shall be stopped immediately and the responsible autho

The action taken and the ensuing work shall count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.7 The client shall be notified without dela

The work involved counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.2 Guide walls 3.2.1 If it has been agreed that guide

37、 walls are to be constructed, it shall be the contractors responsibility to choose the type of guide wall and the materials used, together with the necessary earthworks. 3.2.2 It shall be the contractors responsibility to decide whether guide walls are to be removed or left in place. 3.3 Making of t

39、t fluid to obtain the required properties, and to decide on the method of mixing, working, recovery or disposal of the material. 3.3.3 If, in the process of excavation, it emerges that the excavated depths given in the specifications are unsuitable for fulfilling the function of the diaphragm wall a

40、s intended, the contractor shall notify the client immediately. The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. The work involved counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.3.4 If trenches are to extend into strata that are impermeable to water, the contractor shall notify th

41、e client immediately if the excavation work reaches these strata before the prescribed depth is reached or if the trench does not reach into these strata at all. The ultimate depth shall be determined by the client in consultation with the contractor. 3.3.5 If an unexpected loss of support fluid occ

A minimum supply of support fluid is required to be kept in reserve for this eventuality. The necessary work shall be agreed

43、 between client and contractor. Provided the contractor cannot be held responsible, the action taken and the ensuing work count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.3.6 Should hazards occur during the course of the work (e.g. incursion of water, ground heave, soil flow, landslips, a sudden drop

The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. Provided the contractor cannot be held responsible, the action taken an

The necessary work shall be agreed between client and

The replacement of parts remaining in the trench shall be on a current-value basis. 3.4 Making of diaphragm walls 3.4.1 It shall be the contractors res

This also applies with respect to the permitted amount of water incursion. The watertightness of joints need

Work going beyond this counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.4.2 Where work is to be carried out in inclement weather conditions, suitable precautions shall be taken in consultation with the client. Examples of such conditions include frozen ground, or temperatures below +5 C for operations involving the placing of concrete or slurry. The necessary work counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.15). 3.4.3 The top of the diaphr
