6、IN Standards Committee Rubber Technology). It establishes the shapes and dimensions of waterstops (joint sealing strips) that represent the state of the art. The material properties specified in DIN 7865-2 are an integral part of this standard. The elastomer waterstops defined in this standard make

7、it possible to combine the products of different manufacturers to suit the particular application. The polymer is to be retained. DIN 7865 consists of the following parts under the general title Elastomer waterstops for sealing joints in concrete: Part 1: Shapes and dimensions Part 2: Material speci

8、fications and testing Part 3: Range of applications Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN and/or DKE shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. Amendments This standard differs from

9、DIN 7865-1:2008-02 as follows: a) the standard has been editorially revised; b) Figures 1 to 35, 37 and 40 have been revised; centrelines as in DIN ISO 128-23 have been included; c) Figure 41 has been added. Previous editions DIN 7865-1: 1982-02, 2008-02 DIN 7865-1:2015-02 4 1 Scope This standard sp

10、ecifies the shapes and dimensions of elastomer waterstops, with and without steel straps, used for sealing joints in concrete. DIN 7865-1 does not give guidance on the practical application of the waterstops in construction work. DIN 18197, developed by DIN-Normenausschuss Bauwesen (NABau) (DIN Stan

11、dards Committee Building and Civil Engineering), lays down specifications for the function and construction principles of waterstops, and the corresponding selection criteria. DIN 7865-1 does not apply to elastomer waterstops with fabric reinforcement or waterstops made of other materials (e.g. ther

12、moplastic elastomers (TPE), blends with thermoplastics, etc.). It also does not apply to gaskets or strip for sealing joints in plain or reinforced concrete pipes. 28、ments 5.1 Dimensions The permissible deviation from the dimensions given in Figures 1 to 35 corresponds to tolerance class E3 in DIN ISO 3302-1:1999-10, 6.3 for the nominal dimension range up to 100 mm. For dimensions greater than 100 mm, a deviation of 3 % of the nominal dimension is permitted. 5.2

40、d-party inspection in accordance with DIN 18200, are to be machine marked at works at least every 2 m with an easily visible and permanent marking consisting of the following information: manufacturers mark; DIN number 7865 and Part number 1 or 2; symbol designating the shape as in 4.1; total width

41、in mm; material symbol as in DIN ISO 1629; production period (calendar week, year); where applicable, the symbol of the body carrying out third-party inspection. EXAMPLE Manufacturer XY.
