、15-02 3 Foreword This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 045-02-10 AA Fugendichtungen of DIN-Normenausschuss Kautschuktechnik (FAKAU) (DIN Standards Committee Rubber Technology). It lays down material requirements for elastomer waterstops (joint sealing strips) and also specifies the

、 scope and frequency of inspections. Users of this standard may reproduce the forms in Annexes A to E without prejudice to the rights of DIN regarding the rest of the document. DIN 7865 consists of the following parts under the general title Elastomer waterstops for sealing joints in concrete: Part

、1: Shapes and dimensions Part 2: Material specifications and testing Part 3: Range of applications Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 7865-2:2008-02 as follows: a) the standard has been editorially revised. b) the former Annex B (informative) “Proof of qualification” has been deleted; c) a new Annex B (informative) “Test report” has been added; d) Annex C (informative) “Declaratio

、n of compliance with the order” has been added; e) Annex D (informative) “Inspection certificate A” has been added; f) Annex E (informative) “Inspection certificate B” has been added; g) Annex F (informative) “Third-party inspection” has been added. 14、 7865-2:2015-02 4 1 Scope This standard applies to elastomer waterstops, with and without steel straps, used for sealing joints in concrete in which the waterstop is fully or partially embedded. It also applies to waterstops used as sealants against natural water as in DIN 4030-1. DIN 7865-2 does no

、t apply to elastomer waterstops with fabric reinforcement or waterstops made of other materials (e.g. thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), blends with thermoplastics), it also does not apply to gaskets or strip for sealing joints in plain or reinforced concrete pipes. This standard specifies material req

、uirements for elastomer waterstops. It does not give guidance on the practical application of the waterstops in construction work. DIN 18197 lays down specifications for the function and construction principles of waterstops, and the corresponding selection criteria. 2 Normative references The follo
