This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 151 “Construction equipment and building material machines Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its

Representatives of manufacturers and users of glass machines, and of the employers liability insurance associations co

7、ntributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC, (valid until 28 December 2009) and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, which took effect on 29 December 2009,

8、 and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a

9、“harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN shall

DIN EN 13035-9:2010-07 EN 13035-9:2006+A1:2010 (E) 4 Introduction This European Standard is a type C standard as stated in EN I

31、SO 12100-1. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Standard. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those stated in type A or B standards, the provi-sions of this type C stan

32、dard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard. DIN EN 13035-9:2010-07 EN 13035-9:2006+A1:2010 (E) 5 1 Scope 1.1 This European Standard contains the safety requirements for the design

33、 and installation of stationary glass washing installations as shown as typical in Annex A. Glass washing installations are designed to perform the following functions: feeding of flat glass to the clean-ing and drying unit and transport (delivery) to the estimation equipment and to the take-off pos

34、ition of the flat glass sheet. None of the processing phases requires direct manual intervention. 1.2 !This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events with the exception of those by interfaces with other machines used in a process line relevant to glass was

35、hing installa-tions, when they are used as intended and under the conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4).“ This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks which can arise from these significant hazards

36、 during commissioning, the opera-tion and maintenance. ! Safety requirements and/or protective measures are given in Clause 5. When ref-erences are made to B level standards such as EN 953, EN 1037, EN 1088, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 13850 and EN ISO 13857, the manufacturer should carry out an adequate ris

37、k assessment for the requirements thereof where choice is necessary.“ 1.3 This European Standard is not applicable to machines for loading and unloading of glass (see EN 13035-5) and to conveyors (see EN 619) and fans. If there are specific risks that arise by their use as an inte-gral part of flat
