This standard contains specifications giving detail to the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/E

7、C, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of the EN have be

8、en published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Where the International Standards referred to are not also DIN ISO Standards with the same number, there are no national standards available. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1539:2010-08 as follows: a

9、) in the scope, the use of ovens and dryers for the production of foodstuff and pharmaceutical products is no longer excluded. It is, however, expressly pointed out that the significant risks related to the use of this machinery for such purposes are not dealt with in this standard; b) sintering fur

10、naces are no longer excluded from the scope; c) combined spraying and drying booths are no longer excluded from the scope; d) a new Subclause 4.7.1 “Hazards due to lack of oxygen“ for inertised dryers has been included; e) the explosion protection requirements for type A dryers have been restructure

DIN EN 1539:2016-02 EN 1539:2015 (E) 8 1 Scope This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and hazardous events relevant to ovens and dryers in which flammable substances are released by evaporation from and curing of coating materials.

49、 The specific significant risks related to the use of this machinery with foodstuff and pharmaceutical products are not dealt with in this European Standard. This European Standard is only applicable to machines which are used as intended and under the conditions which are foreseeable as malfunction by the manufacturer (see Clause 4).
