This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/

7、42/EC, and the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, and which apply to atomising and spraying equipment for coating materials that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once t

8、his standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” stand-ard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the ATEX Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standar

9、ds referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. 41、s and/or measures 5.1 General Applicators shall comply with the safety requirements and/or protective measures of this clause. In addition, applicators shall be designed according to the principles of EN ISO 12100:2010 for relevant but not significant hazards (for instance sharp edges), which are no

42、t dealt with by this standard. 5.2 Safety requirements against mechanical hazards 5.2.1 Crushing, shearing and pinching The distances between movable and fixed parts of applicators shall be wide enough to prevent injuries of parts of the human body due to crushing or pinching. 5.2.2 Mechanical stren

43、gth Applicators, their fixing elements and the joints for pressurised liquid supply hoses shall be designed and constructed in such a way to withstand the arising forces. External forces (e.g. by dropping atomising or spraying equipment, forces of the supply hoses), shall be taken into account for a

44、ll applicators. Additionally, the following forces shall be taken into account for applicators for liquid coating material: static hydraulic pressure, dynamic hydraulic pressure (e.g. oscillating supply system pressure), recoil forces during operation, DIN EN 1953:2013-12 EN 1953:2013 (E) 13 vibrati

45、ons.
