Cable length shall beadjusted to suit the measuring equipment.3.2 Unless specified in the technical specification, the following details shall be stated: minimum and maximum temperatures;force.4 MethodEach bus or st
40、ub shall be tested individually. Specimens shall be attached by an appropriate means so thatforce may be applied along the longitudinal axis of the connection. The test method shall be such that theonly stresses affecting the coupler are those generated by the axial force.4.1 ProcedureSpecimens shal
41、l be maintained at each test temperature for 15 min before applying the force.The force shall be applied on the cable without squeezing the coupler case and increased continuously untilthe value specified in the technical specification is reached. The rate of application shall not exceed 45 N/s.This
