National foreword This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 203 “Cast iron pipes, fittings and their joints” (Secretariat: AFNOR, Fr

The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Rohrleitungen und Dampfkesselanlagen (Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 082-00-05 AA Gusseiserne Druckrohre und Formstcke. National Annex NA includes Table NA.1 showing the corresp

6、ondence between the previously used K classes and current pressure classes. This informative Annex is deemed to be necessary because a number of technical rules and standards for gas issued by the DVGW have been based on these K classes and thus a direct comparison can be made. Amendments This stand

7、ard differs from DIN EN 545:2007-02 as follows: a) the scope has been extended; b) pressure classes for all nominal sizes and the resulting component dimensions and characteristics have been included; c) in Subclause 6.6, the mean mass of zinc per unit area has been increased from at least 130 g/m2

8、to at least 200 g/m2; d) installation length and socket depth have been revised to comply with practical requirements; e) the former Annex F “Quality assurance” has been revised and is now included in Clause 9 “Evaluation of conformity”; f) the standard has been brought in line with European directi

9、ves; g) references to European Standards covering external and internal coatings (linings) have been included; h) the standard has been editorially revised. Compared with DIN EN 545:2010-12, the following correction has been made to the German version only and therefore does not affect the English t
