4、64 to adopt, without alteration, International Standard ISO 16000-2 as a European Standard. The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Kommission Reinhaltung der Luft (KRdL) im VDI und DIN (VDI/DIN Air Quality Commission), Section IV Umweltmesstechnik. The sampling strategy proc
5、edure described in this standard is based on Guideline VDI 4300 Part 3. The various parts of ISO 16000 describe general and substance-specific aspects of measurement planning which should be taken into consideration prior to or during measurements, as well as methods of measuring individual substanc
6、es or groups of substances in indoor air. National regulations regarding indoor air quality Aspects of planning indoor air measurements for particular substances or groups of substances are dealt with in the various parts of Guideline VDI 4300 (see National Annex NA). In some cases, these VDI guidel
7、ines served as the sole basis for drawing up certain parts of ISO 16000 (for instance, ISO 16000-1, ISO 16000-2 and ISO 16000-5). The determination (sampling, analysis) of these substances or substance groups in indoor air is dealt with in the VDI 4301 series. Methods which are suitable for both ind
8、oor air and ambient air measurements are described in other VDI Guidelines. Thus the following national technical rules for indoor air measurements are available: the DIN ISO 16000 series and the DIN EN ISO 16000 series: ISO standards which have been adopted as national standards, and the VDI 4300 s
9、eries: Guidelines which have been drawn up at the national level. 46、hyde in indoor air. NOTE The term “formaldehyde” is used in this International Standard instead of the term “methanal”, as specified by IUPAC regulations. It is intended to be a link between Part 1 of ISO 16000, which describes a measurement strategy, and Parts 3 and 4 of ISO 16000, which describe t
47、he analytical procedures dealing with active or diffusive sampling of formaldehyde respectively. This part of ISO 16000 presupposes knowledge of Part 1 of ISO 16000.
