This document (EN ISO 16904:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67 “Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries” in c

6、ollaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 282 “Installation and equipment for LNG” (Secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Gastechnik (DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology), Working Committee NA 032-02-10 AA Anlagen und Ausrs

7、tung fr Flssigerdgas. It is intended to include this standard in the body of technical rules and standards for gas issued by the DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1474-1:2

8、009-03 as follows: a) the standard has been completely revised. The content of EN 1474-1 has been largely adopted, although partly restructured and supplemented; b) in the scope of the standard, reference to EN 1473 has been dropped, and reference to EN 1532 has been replaced by reference to ISO 284

9、60; c) the references to European Standards have been dropped and partly replaced by references to ASME Codes and local or national standards and regulations; d) the number of terms and definitions has been reduced from 84 to 62; e) a list of abbreviated terms has been added (Clause 4); f) in Subcla

10、use 5.1.1 (formerly 4.1.1) it has been specified that parts of the arms shall not come off and drop into the product piping; g) Subclause 5.2.2 “Materials and grades” (formerly 4.2.2) has been partly reformulated and editorially revised. The permissible carbon content of carbon steels has been incre

11、ased from 0,23 % to 0,26 %, and specifications for vessel manifold movements have been moved from Subclause 4.2.2.1 to Subclause 5.4.1.2; h) the former Subclause 4.4.2 “Installation of structural bearings” has been dropped; i) a new Subclause 5.5.5 “Vapour recovery lines” has been included; j) in Su

16、t) the previous Annex A “Materials” which lists the relevant European material standards has been dropped; u) the previous Annex B giving additional information on the Constant Position Monitoring System (CPMS) has been dropped; v) the previous Tables D.1 to D.15 have been moved to the new Annex A “

43、e transfer arms intended for use on conventional onshore LNG terminals, handling LNG carriers engaged in international trade. It can provide guidance for offshore and coastal operations. It also covers the minimum requirements for safe LNG transfer between ship and shore.Although the requirements fo

44、r power/control systems are covered, this International Standard does not include all the details for the design and fabrication of standard parts and fittings associated with transfer arms.This International Standard is supplementary to local or national standards and regulations and is additional
