REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Interface and physical dimensions. The interface and physical dimensions shall be as spe

27、cified herein (see figure 1). 3.1.1 Pure tin. The use of pure tin, as an underplate or final finish is prohibited both internally and externally. Tin content of capacitor components and solder shall not exceed 97 percent, by mass. Tin shall be alloyed with a minimum of 3 percent lead, by mass (see 6

28、.3). 3.1.2 Operating temperature range. The capacitors are rated for their given voltages from -55C to +85C. They are derated two thirds of their given voltages at +125C. See table I. 3.2 Electrical characteristics. 3.2.1 Capacitance. See table I. Measured in accordance with method 305 of MIL-STD-20

29、2. Maximum dc bias shall be 2.2 volts for all ac measurements. The frequency of the ac voltage shall be 120 5 Hz and the magnitude shall be limited to 1.0 volt rms. 3.2.2 Capacitance tolerance. K = 10 percent, M = 20 percent. 3.2.3 Rated voltage. The rated voltage shall be in accordance with table I

30、. Above +85C, voltage derating is required. De-rate linearly from rated voltage at +85C to 0.67 x rated voltage at +125C. 3.2.4 DC leakage (DCL). In accordance with MIL-PRF-55365 and table I. 3.2.5 Dissipation factor (DF). In accordance with MIL-PRF-55365 and table I. 3.2.6 Equivalent series resista

31、nce (ESR). In accordance with MIL-PRF-55365 and table I. 3.3 Surge current (optional). Surge current (when specified, see 1.2) shall be performed on a 100 percent basis either before or after Voltage Aging as indicated in 3.3b. The following details shall apply: a. Number of cycles: 10 at each tempe

32、rature. b. Temperature: Option A: (+25C 5C; after voltage aging). Option B: (-55C -5C, +0C and +85C 5C; after voltage aging). Option C: (-55C -5C, +0C and +85C 5C; before voltage aging). Option Z: No test required. c. Applied voltage: Rated dc voltage 2 percent from a power source having an energy s

33、torage bank of 50,000 F (minimum) across the output terminals. d. Charge cycle: 4 seconds 1 second. e. Discharge cycle: 4 seconds 1 second to a voltage below 1 percent of rated voltage. f. The total dc resistance (excluding the capacitor) including the wiring, fixturing, and output impedance of the

34、regulated power supply to each test position during the charging cycle shall be a maximum of 1.2 ohm. g. Upon completion of the test, the capacitors shall meet the following requirements: (1) DCL: See table I. (2) Capacitance: Shall meet the initial measured value. (3) DF: See table I. Provided by I

Capacitors shall be subjected to a minimum of 100 percent of dc rated voltage for 40 hours, minimum, at a

36、temperature of +85C 5C in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5 Additional tests. The capacitors specified herein are designed to meet the following requirements. Whether the tests are actually performed or not shall be at the option of the acquiring activity (see 6.2b) and shall be negotiable with the

37、 manufacturer. 3.5.1 Vibration, high frequency. Vibration, high frequency shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5.2 Thermal shock. Thermal shock shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365, except the number of cycles shall be five. 3.5.3 Solderability. Solderability shall be in accordance with

38、 MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5.4 Surge voltage. Surge voltage shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5.5 Moisture resistance. Moisture resistance shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5.6 Stability at low and high temperatures. Stability at low and high temperatures shall be in accordance with MIL

39、-PRF-55365. 3.5.7 Resistance to soldering heat. Resistance to soldering heat shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365. 3.5.8 Life. A minimum of dc rated voltage at +85C or a minimum of derated voltage at +125C for 2000 hours. 3.6 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycle

40、d, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.7 Marking. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-

41、PRF-55365, except the “JAN“ or “J“ brand does not apply. The PIN shall be in accordance with 1.2. Marking is not required on the individual parts. 3.8 Manufacturer eligibility. To be eligible for listing as an approved source of supply, a manufacturer shall be listed on the MIL-PRF-55365 Qualified P

42、roduct List for at least one part. 3.9 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be listed as an approved source of supply. 3.10 Workmanship. Capacitors shall be uniform in quality and free from defects that will affect life, serviceabi

43、lity, or appearance. 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Sampling and inspection. Qualification inspection is not required. 4.2 Conformance inspection. 4.2.1 Inspection of product for delivery. Inspection of product for delivery shall consist of the group A inspection (exponential distribution), subgroups 1 and 3,

44、of MIL-PRF-55365. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packagin

45、g activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military

46、Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity.
