The individual item requirements shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable), except as specified in the requ

12、irements drawing and herein. In case of conflict between this drawing and the requirements drawing, the latter shall govern. 3.2 Design, construction, and physical dimensions. The design, construction, and physical dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable), exce

13、pt as specified in the requirements drawing (see 3.1) and herein. 3.2.1 Design documentation. The design documentation shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable) and, unless otherwise specified in the acquisition document, shall be retained by the manufacturer but be ava

14、ilable for review by the contracting activity or contractor upon request. 3.3 Electrical performance and environmental/mechanical characteristics. Unless otherwise specified, the electrical performance and environmental/mechanical characteristics are as specified in the requirements drawing (see 3.1

15、) and apply over the entire operating temperature. 3.4 Marking. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable), except the PIN shall be in accordance with 1.2 herein. 3.5 Quality assurance requirements. Cables furnished under this drawing shall have been subjected to

16、 and passed all the requirements, tests, and inspections detailed herein including quality conformance inspections. 3.6 Qualification. Qualification inspection for cables specified herein shall not be required. 3.6.1 Conformance inspection. Conformance inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL

17、17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable), and 4.3 herein. 3.7 Certification as an approved source of supply. In order to be listed as an approved source of supply for cables manufactured to DSCC drawings, a manufacturer shall: a. Agree to make available to DSCC, upon request, all pertinent test data on

Provide to DSCC-VAI, or its designated agent, upon request, free of change and without obligation, a current production sample from its production of the subject part. Provided by

Meet one of the following criteria: (1) Currently possess part I listing on Qualified Products List QPL-M17 for at least one cable series (not necessarily the one for which the procurement

20、 of this drawing is to apply); or (2) Be in current production of the subject part. 3.8 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from a manufacturer in order to be listed as an approved source of supply (see 6.6). 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Sampling and inspe

21、ction. Sampling and inspection procedures shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable), except as modified herein. 4.2 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for cables specified herein shall not be required. 4.3 Conformance inspection. Conformance inspection s

22、hall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable). Groups A and B inspections shall be performed on each inspection lot. Group C shall be performed on a periodic basis in accordance with MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable). Generic test data (see 6.4) may be used to sati

23、sfy the requirements for group C inspection. Manufacturers shall keep lot records for 3 years (minimum), monitor for compliance to the prescribed procedures, and observe that satisfactory manufacturing conditions and records on lots are maintained for these cables. The records, including as a minimu

24、m an attributes summary of all conformance inspections conducted on each lot, shall be available for review by customers at all times (see 3.6.1). 4.4 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall consist of the tests shown in the appropriate table of MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable) with

25、values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, (see 3.1), as applicable. 4.4.1 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall consist of the tests shown in the appropriate table of MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable) with values specified in this drawing and the item requi

26、rements drawing, (see 3.1), as applicable. 4.4.2 Group C inspection. Group C inspection shall consist of the tests shown in the appropriate table of MIL-DTL-17 or MIL-DTL-28830 (as applicable) with values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, (see 3.1), as applicable (see 6.4)

27、 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging requirements. The requirements for packaging shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-17. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. Cables conforming to DSCC drawings are intended for use when defense specifications do not exist and qualified military cables that will perform the required f

28、unction are not available for OEM applications. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unnecessary duplicate specifications, drawings, and stock catalog listings. When a defense specification exists and the product covered by this drawing has been qualified for listing

29、on QPL this drawing will be inactivated and will not be used for new design. Requirements for delivery of one copy of the conformance inspection data pertinent to the cable inspection lot to be supplied with each ship

31、ment by the cable manufacturer, if applicable (see 3.6.1). c. Requirements for certificate of compliance, if applicable (see 3.8). d. Requirements for notification of change of product or process to the contracting activity, if applicable. e. Requirements for packaging and packing (see 5.1). 6.3 Rep

32、laceability. Replaceability is determined as follows: a. Cables covered by DSCC drawings will replace the same generic cables covered by a contractor-prepared specification or drawing. b. When a QPL source is established, the PIN cable specified in the requirement drawing will be replaced by the cab

33、le in the requirement drawing supersession table. 6.4 Generic test data. Generic test data may be used to satisfy the requirements of 4.4.2. Group C generic test data shall be on date codes no more than one year old, with the same material, design, and manufacturing process. The vendor is required t

34、o retain the generic data for a period of not less than 36 months from the date of shipment. 6.5 Comments. 35、rtificate of compliance.
