This Commercial Item Descripti

2、on covers a system of 3 canisters connected to a manifold and an electrical timer to convert a 115 volt suction apparatus from constant flow to intermittent flow. Salient characteristics: The unit shall be a three-canister and timer system ,for Wangensteen type intermittent suctioning of 3 patients

3、simultaneously providing an on-off timer for intermittent interruption of power supply to a suction apparatus. shall be suitable for use in hospital and military aeromedical aircraft. it The system shall include the following: least 6 feet long to connect the systems manifold to a suction apparatus.

7、ings conforming with ANSI 279.9 and having a barb or tapered connector for 1/4 patient tubing. g. An electrical control box to provide ON-OFF cycling of 115 volt, 50 to 400 Hz power source to a suction apparatus. The control box, with its power cord assembly, shall be designed to control Electromagn

8、etic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). The control box shall include: 1. A flush mounted 115 volt receptacle to receive a power cord with a hospital grade plug to provide cycled on-off power to a surgical suction apparatus (marked to identify as timed/cycled on-off power). 2

9、. A flush mounted 115 volt hospital grade receptacle for general purpose use (not time/cycled controlled). 3. A 115 volt cord with hospital grade plug, hard 4. A timer to intermittently interrupt power from wired, to allow input power from a wall receptacle. 115 VAC wall source providing power cycli

10、ng of 15 seconds off and 45 seconds on. The switch circuit shall be rated at least 5 amps. h. Three mounting bracket sets to mount each of the canisters on a stanchion with cross-section of either 2 inches by 2 inches or 2-3/4 inches by 2 inches. 13、es containing complete operation, installation and service/maintenance instructions (including pictures or illustrations, as necessary) with complete schematics and wiring diagrams (if unit has electric circuitry). All manuals, handbooks, and/or brochures shall be written in the English language and

14、 all schematics and wiring diagrams shall use American electrical data and connection diagrams for all I applicable utilities. The instructions shall also contain a complete list of all replaceable parts showing part number, name and quantity required. All service notes, service memo, etc., pertaini

15、ng to the equipment and issued subsequent to the printing of the original instructions shall also be included. These instructions shall be, as a minimum, that furnished to service engineers (or servicemen) that normally install and service the equipment for the company or distributor. procured inclu

17、 Quality Assurance Provisions. Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contr

18、actor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary t

Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall b

20、e maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery of the supplies to which such records relate. Inspection. Inspection, as used her

21、ein, is defined as both examination (such as visual or auditory investigation without the use of special laboratory appliances or procedures) and testing (determination by technical means of physical and chemical properties) of the item. Samplinq for examination. Sampling for examination shall be co

22、nducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105, with an AQL of 1.0 (percent defective) and an inspection level of I. The unit of product for examination purposes shall be one canister and timer system, as specified. Samplinq for tests. Sampling for tests, including dimensional test, shall be conducted in ac

Federal Food, Druq and Cosmetic Act. If the product covered by this document has been determined by the U.S

Food and Drug Administration to be under its jurisdiction, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as amended, and regulations promulgated thereunder. In addition, the

30、offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of all other applicable Federal, State, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations. Recovered materials. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to 0 use recovered material in

31、accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 23.4 to the maximum extent practical. Preservation, packaqinq, p ackinq, labelins, and markinq. Unless otherwise specified, preservation, packaging, and packing shall be to a degree of protection to preclude damage to containers and/or contents
