OneofthepurposesoftheproceduresinISO26051andISO26052(ENV226051and ENV226052)istoreducetherequirementforelevatedtemperaturetensileacceptancetests onindividualproductsbyorganizationsandmanufacturerscontributingdataforassessment. ExperiencehasshownthattheproceduresinISO26051a
23、ndISO26052(ENV226051and ENV226052)havelimitationsaffectingtherelationshipbetweenderivedminimumproperty valuesandtheminimaofthetestdataarisingfromthestatisticalandsomesubjective decisionsatvariousstagesoftheprocedures.Theyalsorequirerelativelylargeamountsof datatoproduceanacceptablelevelofaccuracy. 24、heproceduresetoutinISO26053(ENV226053)requireslessdatabutbecauseitis designedtoalwaysgiveconservativevaluesfromfewdata,itliketheotherprocedures,can givenonrepresentativeresults.However,theprincipleofthisprocedureisconsideredtobe morerealisticandisadoptedasthebasisofthisEuropeanStandard;theobjectiveb
25、eingto produceanassessmentprocedurefortensilepropertydatawhichissimpletooperate,gives representativeresultsandisusableincomputerisedform.
