16、 Kingdom. : + 1994 A2 EForeword The proposal to endorse IEC 335-1 : 1991, document CLC/TC 61 (SEC) 795, was circulated under the enquiry procedure in July 1991. This proposal was discussed during the Valadares meeting in April 1992 and the Pettenasco meeting in September 1992, when it was decided to
17、 submit a draft for EN 60335-1 to the unique acceptance procedure (UAP). This procedure started in February 1993 but the draft did not receive sufficient support. The comments were discussed during the El Cainpello meeting in October 1993 when it was decided to submit a second draft of EN 60335- 1 t
18、o the voting procedure. This draft was circulated in February 1994 and was ratified by CENELEC on 1994-07-05. This European Standard has been prepared by the secretariat of CENELEC Technical Committee TC 61. The following date is applicable: latest date of publication of an identical national standa
19、rd (dop) 1995-04-01 This European Standard replaces EN 60335-1 : 1988 and its amendments. However, EN 60335-1 1988 remains valid until all the part 2s which are used in conjunction with it have been withdrawn. No date of withdrawal of conflicting national standards (dow) has therefore been fixed. NO
20、TE In appliances covered by this standard, components which have been tested and found to comply with the relevant standard quoted in EN 60335- 1 : 1988 are allowed until the latest date of application for production stated in the new component standard. However, components have to comply with claus
21、e 30. This Part 1 is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate Part 2, which contains clauses to supplement or modify the corresponding clauses in Part 1, to provide the relevant requirements for each type of product. NOTE Part 1 may be applied, as far as is reasonable, to appliances not covere
22、d by a Part 2. in which case EN 60335-1 1988 is not to be used after 1997-04-01. If the functions of an appliance are coveted by different Part 2s of EN 60335, the relevant Part 2 is applied to each function separately, as far as is reasonable. If applicable, the influence of one function on the oth
23、er is taken into account. The reference of subclauses, notes, figures and annexes which are in addition to those in IEC 335-1 is prefixed with the letter Z. Special national conditions causing a deviation from this European Standard are listed in the normative annex ZA. National deviations from this
