6、: Materials supplied to this Standard shall be identified with the M-number printed on the side, as well as on the top of the containers in letter at least 2 inches high in a contrasting color to that of the container. Container marking shall be in accordance with Manufacturing Standard ZF-10 and co
7、nform to all Federal, State and local container contents labeling regulations which are in effect both in the area of shipment and use. 4. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLIERS: Materials submitted by new manufacturers to this Standard must have laboratory and shop trial approvals. Recommendations for the addit
8、ion of new manufacturers to the Manufacturing Standards Approved Source List must be made by the appropriate Division Standards activity in writing to the Maintenance and Internal Environmental Engineering Department, Plant Engineering Office. All supporting data must accompany the written request.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL: Suppliers are required to report to the plants using the material, a listing of those constituents present in the material which appear on the Register of Critical Materials, as established by the Michigan State Water Resources Commission (Ford Motor Company Form 68-100). I
10、n addition, suppliers also will comply with any other national, state, territorial or other political subdivision requirement for the disclosure of materials other than those appearing on the Michigan Register of Critical Materials. 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY: The following are recommended practices to be
11、 observed when working with petroleum products: 6.1 Where contact with oil is unavoidable, impervious gloves should be worn. Clean work clothes should be worn. If extensive splashing cannot be avoided, impervious aprons and footwear should be worn. 6.2 When skin exposure cannot be avoided, removal of oil from the skin should be as prompt as possible. Industrial solvents should not be used to clean the skin. 6.3 All skin rashes, lesions, cuts and abrasions should receive prompt medical attention.
