SCOPE The material defined
3、 by these specifications is an expanded polyvinyl chloride copolymer film laminated to a knitted polyester fabric. In specifications WSD-M2F186-B/C/D, the vinyl coated fabric (WSD-M2F186-A) is flame laminated to polyether foam and a knitted backing scrim. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were rel
4、eased originally for material used in interior trim as a covering for commercial vehicle seat cushions and seat backs. 3. 13、 are moulded from clear acrylic sheeting as per fig.1. Form A has a radius r = 100 mm Form B has a radius r = 75 mm Form C has a radius r - 50 mm Form D has a radius r = 30 mm Procedure: Cut 3 test specimens, approximately 200 - 250 mm x 75 mm with the longer dimension parallel to the roll direction
14、 and also 3 specimens across the roll direction. It is important that both the original sample and the individual test specimens are not folded or creased prior to testing. Bend the test specimen, without undue tension or pressure around form A with the face side to the clear acrylic form. Inspect t
15、he specimen through the acrylic sheet for evidence of creasing or collapse of the laminate foam. If the specimen is acceptable on form A repeat the test on form B then C, or until evidence of creasing occurs. Report the identification letter of the test form with the smallest radius on which the majority of test specimens pass.
