2、 TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a non woven, needled polyester sheeting of good quality and uniform composition. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as package tray face cover. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specific
3、ation requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end item assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated), shall meet all the applicable requirements of WSS-M15P6-D performance specification for package tray assemblies. 3.1 STANDA
4、RD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern and finish shall match the approved master sample. 3.3 COMPOSITION 100% Recy

The
14、resistance to deterioration of approved production material shall be equal to or better than that exhibited by the fabric proposal approved by the Materials Engineering Activity. 3.18.1 Tape Test Test Method: Firmly apply a piece of 3Ms Highland Brand 6200 permanent Mending Tape or 3Ms Scotch Magic
15、Tape 810 (only for South America) to the surface of the exposed fabric (yarn). Then rapidly strip the tape and mount it on a sheet of light or dark cardstock which contrasts with the color of the fiber. Repeat the test with a new piece of tape on the unexposed sample and compare the length and quant
16、ity of fibers removed by the tape. Report fiber deterioration if a significantly larger number of fiber (usually shorter lengths) are removed from the exposed versus unexposed sample. 3.18.2 Abrasion 1000 cycles (SAE J1530A, 500 g load, H-10 wheels, if required, back with S-36 mounting cards or equivalent) In addition, the material shall exhibit no evidence of penetration to the foundation of the pile fibers in the abraded area.
