T255 Program). It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW3172. 1. PURPOSE

3、To evaluate component performance of Voice Warning Unit (hereafter called VWS) applied for GMDAT (hereafter called the Company) vehicles. 2. APPLICABLE EXTENT Applied for VWS component test mounted to passenger car. 3. DEFINITION 3.1. Voice Warning Unit Generating voice warring through Double Voice

4、Coil Speaker by detecting abnormal operation of vehicle system. 3.2. Double Voice Coil Speaker Available to perform audio input & voice warning by 1 speaker with double coil vibrating diaphragm in speaker. 4. TEST CONDITION 4.1. Standard Test Voltage The voltage indicated in drawing or test standard

5、 as test voltage for module performance & durability. 4.2. Standard test condition Carry out test at normal temp/humidity described in KS A006 (test site standard condition), if not specified. 4.3. DUT (device under test) quantity Based on 14 units at minimum. 5. TEST MEASURING UNIT & EQUIPMENT 5.1.

6、 General Governmental Authority of Calibration shall approve test-measuring unit and the period is to be valid. 5.2. Thermostat Available to maintain temp 40 to +90, the capacity shall be over 100 at minimum and permissible error shall be within +2/temp adjusting relative humidity up to 95% at each

7、temp as 5.3. Vibration test unit Available to perform test based on KS R 1034 (Vibration component vibration test method). 8、unit for durability test Auto circuit breaker able to apply or intercept power for unit operation during durability test and unit to record processing time & frequency by detecting error. 6. TEST 6.1. External test 6.1.1. Visual test (1) Visual inspection (2) Observe harmful scratch, crack and other

9、 defects to effect on performance by visual inspection. 6.1.2. Dimension test Indicated test tools in KS B 5203(vernier calipers) should be used, DUT is to be compiled to material quality according to deign spec and manufactures dimension is to be equal to drawing. 6.2. Performance 6.2.1. Basic func

10、tion test Operating parameter of basic performance in drawing is to be within tolerance of standard test voltage. 6.2.2. Operating Voltage (1) DUT should be normally operated at Operating Voltage, 9V16V & Operating temp, -30 +80 in supply voltage-9V to 16V, basic performance in 6.2.1 is to be satisf

11、ied. Only if necessary, operating temp items may be followed by drawing condition under agreement with test division. (2) Carry out measurement at 3-test voltage within operating voltage range, if there is no special rule indicated. 6.2.3. Leakage current (1) Carry out measurement at standard test v

12、oltage 12.6 0.1V of real load composition at battery power line. (2) Set ignition power line to OFF at this time. (3) Measured leakage current should not be exceeding of 5 , if there is no special rule indicated. 6.3. Electric Tolerance Test 6.3.1. Power voltage variation test (1) To check unit norm

13、al operation against electric shock caused by Power voltage alteration. (2) Compose DUT equal to design spec, apply the following test voltage of 10cycles to battery & ignition power terminal by voltage variation type respectively, then basic performance in 6.2.1 should be satisfied. * Test temp: St

Reverse/overload test (1) Carried out for protecting unit inner circuit against reverse/overload generated from vehicle at battery discharging. (2) Connect wiring equal

16、to car condition during test, operate unit by inserting inner protection circuit (fuse) to system with inner protection circuit. (3) Replace it immediately with inner protection circuit (fuse) of equivalent spec and connect it if the power is disconnected by inner protection circuit (fuse) operating

(4) Compose DUT equal to design spec, apply the following test voltage cycle to battery & ignition power terminal by the following type, then basic function in 6.2.1para shall be satisfied. z Overload A Test voltage : 180.2V Test time: 60min Test temp: Standard test temp at normal temp/humidity T1

SHORT CIRCUIT No inner circuit damage and basic function in 6.2.1 shall be satisfied when all I/O signal terminal of unit is shorted to power terminal or ground for 1min at Standard test voltage. 6.3.4. ISOLATION

21、RESISTANCE TEST ISOLATION RESISTANCE shall be more than 500Mega Mohm (No exothermic, ignition due to leak current at case ground) when 500(V)-Alternating Current (AC) is applied between connector pin, connector and unit case. 6.4. Weather environmental test 6.4.1. High temp storage test (1) Compose

(2) Unit should be normally operated when basic function in 6.2.1 is measured after carrying out the following conditions and drying DUT for 2hrs at normal temp/humidity. z Test temp : +852 z Test time: 94 hrs z Test voltage : +14(V) Applied to battery & ignition power term

23、inal at temp storage. 6.4.2. Low temp storage test (1) Compose DUT equal to design spec. (2) Unit should be normally operated when basic performance in 6.2.1 is measured after carrying out the following conditions and drying DUT for 2hrs at normal temp/humidity. z Test temp: -402 z Test time: 70hrs

24、z Test voltage: +9(V) Applied to battery & ignition power terminal at temp storage. 6.4.3. Temperature Cycle Test (1) Compose DUT equal to design spec. (2) Unit should be normally operated when basic function in 6.2.1 is measured after carrying out the following conditions and drying DUT for 2hrs at

(2) No accumulation on the Case after storage for 24hrs at normal temp/humidity after carrying out the following condition

Vibration test Carried out test on real car mounting condition to Vibration test unit, the unit should be normally operated when basic function in 6.2.1para is measur

TERMINAL/CONNECTOR (1) Mounting force supply test No mechanical, electrical damage when 50N-force is applied to unit terminal toward axis direction. (2) Detaching force supply test No looseness or electrical contact when unit connector is pul

37、led by 110N-force toward optional direction. 6.5.4 Mechanical impact test (1) To evaluate impact durability of unit. (2) Unit should be normally operated when basic function in 6.2.1 is measured after applying 20 cycles of half cycle-SINE waves with 25G per 13Ms to 3 axis direction using impact test

38、 unit. 6.6. Operating durability test 6.6.1. Apply equivalent load to DUT with real car condition. 6.6.2. Operate DUT with initial load at maximum operating temp & standard operating voltage for 1000hrs and operating for each performance is based on the drawing. 6.6.3. Each component shall be normal

39、ly operated during/after test under the following test condition and all performance value should be within indicated tolerance. (1) Test temp : -30 +802 (2) Test time : 1 Cycle 6.7. Electromagnetic Compatibility 6.7.1. Radiated Emission This test is performed based on EDS-T-5524, Narrowband Emissio

40、n and measurements should not be beyond limited value. 6.7.2.
