SCOPE 1.1 a. This commercial ite

4、dustry for the manufacture of this product. 3.2 Uook/Row. The dowel rod shall have no crook exceeding 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) and no bow exceeding 3/4 inch (19.0 mm) in 36 inches (914.4 mm). a. Crook is any discreet departure of the dowel axis from a straight line extending through the center of the dowel

Bow is any continuous departure of the dowel axis from a straight line extending through the center of the dowel . ends, in the overall dowel length. % 3.3 Cross ur a. Products manufactured to metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within the tolerances specified and all other requirements of this document are met. If a product is manufactured to metric dimensions and those

9、dimensions exceed the tolerances specified in the inch-pound units, a request should be made to the contracting officer to determine if the product is acceptable. .
