4、on tubing, non-metallic tubing, air tube. 1.0 APPLICATION This specification outlines the minimum requirements for non-metallic tubing that may be used in certain portions of the air brake systems (see Restrictions in SAE J844 and J1394), in the secondary air system (such as air horns, air shift lin
5、es, air wipers, and air seats), and in fuel lines. This tubing is restricted to use in a temperature range of -40 to 93C (-40 to 200F) and to a maximum working pressure of 1034 kPa (150 psi). Tubing used in the fuel system is also controlled by TMS-7134. 2.0 SCOPE This specification covers the gener
6、al requirements, property and performance requirements, quality control and KCC requirements for two types of non-metallic tubing. 2.1 Type A: This is a non-reinforced tubing for use in secondary air system applications outside of the primary braking system. 2.2 Type B: This is a reinforced tubing t
7、hat may be used in the primary braking system as well as other air system applications and in the fuel system. NOTE 1: These tubing types should not be used for compressor discharge lines or in other applications where temperatures exceed 93C (200F), or pressures exceed 1034 kPa (150 psi). NOTE 2: S
