Consisting of interconnecting structural panels as a

26、 central, integrating element. In addition to the panels, the systems include panel-supported storage, task management devices, electrical, and wire management components. These systems also include panel-supported or freestanding work surfaces. 6. INSTRUCTIONS The following instructions have been d

27、eveloped to maximize use of the Centers electronic capabilities. All of these procedures shall begin with the requester initiating a SR using the SRS (http:/co.msfc.nasa.gov/). Requests from contractor personnel shall be coordinated with/processed through applicable civil service approval points. NO

28、TE: Some services in this MWI need the requesting organization to provide funding. 6.1 Furniture Operations The LSO shall provide Center operational support for furniture reutilizations, furniture purchases, turn-in of excess furniture items, and furniture relocations. Appendix A provides the Center

29、s policy for assignment of office furniture and furnishings as determined by the Center Director. 31、rovides requirements on packing and moving preparations. 6.1.1 Request for Additional Furniture Items MSFC fully supports reutilization of available useable assets and has an established pool of available used furniture that all MSFC personnel shall check before purchasing any new furniture items. T

32、he SRS has been designed to automatically guide you through the correct process in a logical, step-by-step sequence. Actionee Shall perform all Actions Requester 6.1.1.1 Submits SR to request additional furniture items using the SRS. SRS 6.1.1.2 Redirects requester to the furniture reutilization Web

33、 site (http:/logistics2.msfc.nasa.gov/furn.asp) to allow the requester to check for item availability. NOTE: Furniture items available from existing stock are provided at “no cost.” Requester 6.1.1.3 Links to the online retail store if the desired item is not available through the reutilization Web

34、site. ALL furniture items being purchased using Government funds shall be procured ONLY through the MSFC RSO (MSFCs only procuring agent for furniture items). While any Government personnel may “window-shop” and select furniture items to purchase, only a valid P-card holder or purchase order holder

LSC 6.1.1.5 Processes the requested purchase and delivers the furniture items to the requester. SRS 6.1.1.6 Notifies requester of service status/completion and provides s

Requester 6.1.1.7 Provides feedback (optional). 6.1.2 Request for Turn-In of Excess Furniture Actionee Shall perform all Actions Requester 6.1.2.1 Submits SR for the turn-in of excess furniture. 6.1.2.2 A safe with a built-in combination lock requires the requester to coordinate the turn

40、-in with Protective Services and to have the locksmith change the combination to a generic number prior to turn-in. LSC 6.1.2.3 Determines disposition of furniture. 6.1.2.4 If reusable, schedules item for pickup within 4 working days. a. Updates SRS with scheduled pickup date. b. Picks up items on s

44、time along with a scheduled return date of the item. 6.1.3.3 Updates SRS with the estimated repair time and scheduled return date of the item. 6.1.3.4 Repairs the item. LSC 6.1.3.5 If not repairable, informs requester. 6.1.3.6 Tags item for disposal and arranges for disposition IAW MWI 4300.1. SRS 6

45、.1.3.7 Notifies requester of service status/completion and provides survey form. Requester 6.1.3.8 Submits SR for new item IAW 6.1.1 above. 6.1.4 Request for Relocation of Furniture 6.1.4.1 Typically, furniture items shall not be moved. Therefore, requests to move furniture (whether in conjunction w
