Availability of certain grades is often dependent upon the diameter of the particular tube de

46、sign. Bend radii may dictate whether regular cold finished tubing (MPAPS A-10) is adequate or whether the more formable automotive tubing (MPAPS A-45) is required. A.1 GAGE AND FILLER TUBES USING THE LOCK-N-SEAL DIPSTICK Dipstick and Fill tubes using the Lock-N-Seal Dipstick require a plastic end-cu

47、p that is adhesively bonded to the steel tube. The plastic portion of the Dipstick is inserted into the end-cup on the tube to provide the “lock-and-seal” feature of this assembly. Base requirements for the material used in the end-cup and strength requirements of the adhesive bond, of the end-cup to the tube, are described in this specification.
