9、 The cable (cord) shall be in accordance with M22442/35-3. 2. The weight of the cable assembly shall not be greater than 3 ounces. 3. The staycord shall be firmly attached to the connectors and strain relief. 4. The DC resistance shall be less than 2 ohms between the following contacts (Cable M2244

10、2/62-1 and M22442/62-2): (a) Contact 1 of P/N M642/14-01 and contact 2 of U-172/U. (b) Contact 2 of P/N M642/14-01 and contact 1 of U-172/U. (c) Contact 3 of P/N M642/14-01 and contact 2 of the left earphone contact and contact 2 of the right earphone contact. (d) Contact 5 of P/N M642/14-01 and con

11、tact 1 of the left earphone contact and contact 1 of the right earphone contact. (e) Contact 5 of P/N M642/14-01 and contact 2 of the CEP earphone connector contact. 5. The DC resistance shall be as specified between the following contacts (Cable M22442/62-1 and M22442/62-2): (a) Contact 3 of P/N M6

12、42/14-01 and contact 1 of the CEP earphone connector contact 470 ohms ( 20% tolerance). (b) Contact 1 and contact 2 of the CEP earphone connector contact 47 ohms ( 20% tolerance). 6. The CEP earphone connector (Applied Engineering Products, New Haven, CT. Dwg No. SK-1399-1) male bulkhead jack recept

13、acle shall be gold plated. 7. The cable assembly shall be tested in accordance with the tests listed in table I. 8. Cable assemblies M22442/62-1 and M22442/62-2 are identical with the exception that cable M22442/62-2 shall have a maximum length of 6.0 .25 from the outer shell of the U-384/U connecto
