SCOPE 1.1 Scope This specification covers the requirements for low

2、 unsupported stretch- typ e over shoes. .k 1.2 specified herein, and shall be procured in the following sizes to accomodate the related size of shoe as specified (see 6.2). Classification The overshoes shall be of one type and in the styles Size Small Related shoe size 6 to 7 1/2 Style a, Sandal b.

3、Galocha Medium 8 to 9 Extra-Large 11 1/2 to 13 Large 9 1/2 to 11 2. 18、 pattern shall be as furnished by the 3.4.1 Figure Figure 1 is furnished for information purposes only. To the extent of any inconsistencies between the written specification and the figure, the written specification shall govern. 3.4.2 Molds The molds used to produce the applicable style overshoes

19、shall - be furnished by the contractor. 3.5 Construction The overshoes shall be constructed as an unlined unit, with the upper, sole and heel one continuous unit. 3.6 Thickness The thickness of the various component parts of the applicable style overshoes shall be as shown in Table II when tested as

20、 specified in 4.3.2.2. 21、zed and treated to eliminate tackiness and have a smooth finish. All mold flashings shall be trimmed and all.inside corners rounded and made smooth. 3.8 Marking Each overshoe shall have the size and contractors name molded on the outsole in the shank area, with the height of characters governed by t

QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection Unless otherwise specified in the contract the contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. tractor may use his own or any other facilities suitable for the performance of

The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in this specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements, Exce

26、n accordance with 3.2, shall be inspected as specified in 4.3.2 and 4.3.2,2 for compliance with design, construction, workmanship and thickness requirements. 4.3 Inspection Inspection shall be performed in accordance with MIL-STD-105, except where otherwise indicated herein, 4.3.1 Component and mate

27、rial inspection In accordance with 4.1 above, components and materials shall be inspected and tested in accordance with all requirements of referenced specifications, drawings, and standards unless other- wise excluded, amended, modified, or qualified in this specification or applicable purchase doc

In addition, the rubber compound shall be tested for the characteristics specified in Table III and in accordance with the referenced test methods of FED-STD-601. applicable to the sample unit. All test reports shall contain the individual values utilized in expressing the final result. A lot
