2、ation has issued the following Tentative Interim Amendment to NFPA 52, Vehicular Natural Gas Fuel Systems Code, 2016 edition. The TIA was processed by the Technical Committee on Vehicular Natural Gas Fuel Systems Code, and was issued by the Standards Council on December 1, 2016, with an effective da
3、te of December 21, 2016. A Tentative Interim Amendment is tentative because it has not been processed through the entire standards-making procedures. It is interim because it is effective only between editions of the standard. A TIA automatically becomes a public input of the proponent for the next
4、edition of the standard; as such, it then is subject to all of the procedures of the standards-making process. 1. Revise paragraph 15.2.5.2 to read as follows: 15.2.5.2 Components outside the engine compartment shall be designed for service over a temperature range of 40F to 180F (40C to 82C). 2. Re
5、vise paragraph 15.4.2.9.1 to read as follows: 15.4.2.9.1 Components outside the engine compartment that are in contact with LNG shall be designed for service over a temperature range of 260F to 180F (162C to 82C). 3. Revise paragraph 15.4.2.9.2 to read as follows: 15.4.2.9.2 Other components that ar
