15、throughthedesiredperform-ance-basedcriteriaofoperationalavailability,operationalreliability,costperunitusage,logisticsfootprint,andlogisticsresponsetime,aswellaspaybackintermsoftotalownershipcosts.PartsManagementProgramSelecting,specifying,ensuringproperdesignapplications,and,ingeneral,managingparts
16、usedincomplexsystemsconstituteamajorengineeringtask.Partsarethebuildingblocksfromwhichsystemsarecreatedand,assuch,greatlyimpacthardwaredependabilityandreadiness.Sincethereliabilityandmaintainabilityoftheenditemisdependentuponthesebuildingblocks,theimportanceofselectingandapplyingthemosteffectivePMPc
