2、Servicing Missions, GSFC conducts “internal“ simulations to prepare the operations for Joint Integrated Simulations with the entire Shuttle Operations Team. It was recognized early on that it would be a tremendous benefit to include key JSC positions including the payload officer and his support tea
3、m in these internal simulations. This facilitated early JSC/GSFC team coordination prior to Joint Integrated Simulations. It also improves the realism of the training by modeling all of the interfaces and to a certain extent modeling some normal work tasks and anomalies external to either center. Fo
