2、 data products received from the Wallops and Alaska ADEOS-II Data Processing Systems. Gaps in the SeaWinds product were characterized by JPL to be intermittent in nature, of variable size, and located at irregular intervals in the data products. Reprocessing of the raw data by NASDA yielded 100% dat
3、a recovery. Thus, while there was 100% data capture, data gaps were introduced by the DS resulting in approximately 8% data loss in the Level 0 product (i.e. 8 out of every 100 minutes of data was not included in the Level 0 product). These gaps were undetected at the processing station until report
4、ed by JPL and NASDA.Lesson(s) Learned: Ensure that data products can be extracted for analysis at each processing step and perform bit-level data analysisRecommendation(s): An operations concept should be developed to determine how the ADEOS-II operations team would perform data analysis.
