Description of Driving Event: Pneumatic regulation panels experience frequent pressure adjustments when the ambi
3、ent temperature changes. They also require frequent corrosion-induced repairs. Lesson(s) Learned: Changes in ambient temperature cause the control pressure to change, which requires frequent readjustment to the regulators. The humidity/ocean spray/launch residue condense on the pneumatic panels and
4、their components and cause corrosion that requires more frequent repairs to be performed. Recommendation(s): 1. To eliminate the temperature-induced pressure changes, place the pneumatic panels in an air-conditioned environment. 2. An air-conditioned operating environment would also have a reduced h
5、umidity and a lower salt content, thus reducing the corrosive elements encountered by the panels. 3.
