28、NCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection The vendor of cleaner shall supply all samples for vendors tests and shall be responsible for the performance of all required tests. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any confirmatory testing deemed necessary to ensure that the cle

SAE INTERNATIONAL AMS1742 Page 3 of 5_ 4.2 Classification of Tests 4.2.1 Preproduction Tests All technical requirements are preproduction tests and shall be performed prior to or on the initial shipment of cleaner to a purchaser, when a change in ingredients
30、and/or processing requires reapproval as in 4.4.2, and when purchaser deems confirmatory testing to be required. 4.3 Sampling and Testing Shall be in accordance with ASTM D 1568; a lot shall be all cleaner produced in a single production run, from the same batches of raw materials, under the same fi
31、xed conditions, and presented for vendors inspection at one time. 4.3.1 A statistical sampling plan, acceptable to purchaser, may be used in lieu of sampling as in 4.3. 4.4 Approval 4.4.1 Sample cleaner shall be approved by purchaser before cleaner for production use is supplied, unless such approva
32、l be waived by purchaser. Results of tests on production cleaner shall be essentially equivalent to those on the approved sample. 4.4.2 Vendor shall use ingredients, manufacturing procedures, and inspection methods on production cleaner which are essentially the same as those used on the approved sa

If necessary to make any change in ingredients or in manufacturing procedures, vendor shall submit for reapproval a statement of the proposed changes in ingredients and/or processing and, when requested, sample cleaner. Production cleaner made by the revised procedure shall not be shipped prio
34、r to receipt of reapproval. 4.5 Reports The vendor of cleaner shall furnish with each shipment a report showing the results of tests to determine conformance to the acceptance test requirements and, when performed, to the periodic test requirements and stating that cleaner conforms to the other tech
35、nical requirements. This report shall include the purchase order number, lot number, AMS 1742, manufacturers identification, and quantity. 4.5.1 The vendor of cleaner shall supply a certification of compliance of biodegradability requirements (See 3.2.61.2). 4.6 Resampling and Retesting If any sampl
36、e used in the above tests fails to meet the specified requirements, disposition of the cleaner may be based on the results of testing three additional samples for each original nonconforming sample. Failure of any retest sample to meet the specified requirements shall be cause for rejection of the c

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging and Identification 5.1.1 Compound shall be packaged in containers of a type and size acceptable to purchaser. 5.1.2 A lot of compound may be packaged in small quantities and delivered under the basi
38、c lot approval provided lot identification is maintained. 5.1.3 Each container of compound shall be legibly marked with not less than AMS 1742, purchase order number, lot number, manufacturers identification, and quantity. 5.1.4 Containers of compound shall be prepared for shipment in accordance wit
39、h commercial practice and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the handling, packaging, and transportation of the compound to ensure carrier acceptance and safe delivery.
