5、0.45Ag 0.12Zr (2050-T852) Solution Heat Treated, Cold Worked and Artificially Aged (Composition similar to UNS A92050) RATIONALE AMS4357 is a new specification which covers aluminum-lithium alloy 2050-T852 in the form of die forgings. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Form This specification covers an aluminum alloy in
6、the form of die forgings from 2 inches (50.8 mm) to 10 inches (254 mm) in nominal thickness and forging stock of any size (see 8.5). 1.2 Application These forgings have been used typically for machined structural parts where low density is needed in combination with a high level of mechanical proper
7、ties and good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, but usage is not limited to such applications. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS The issue of the following documents in effect on the date of the purchase order forms a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. The supplier may work to a
8、 subsequent revision of a document unless a specific document issue is specified. When the referenced document has been cancelled and no superseding document has been specified, the last published issue of that document shall apply. 2.1 SAE Publications Available from SAE International, 400 Commonwe
