18、itrate solution in accordance with ASTM B 154, Procedure A, or the Ammonia Vapor Test in accordance with ASTM B 858M.3.4 Quality:The product, as received by purchaser, shall be uniform in quality and condition, sound, and free from foreign materials and from imperfections detrimental to usage of the
19、 product.3.5 Tolerances:Shall conform to the following:3.5.1 Bars and Rods: AMS 2221 or MAM 2221, as applicable to refractory alloys.3.5.2 Tubing: AMS 2223 or MAM 2223, as applicable to refractory alloys.4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS: 4.1 Responsibility for Inspection: The vendor of the product sh
20、all supply all samples for vendors tests and shall be responsible for the performance of all required tests. 23、sting: Shall be in accordance with the following:4.3.1 Bars and Rods: ASTM B 249 or ASTM B 249M.4.3.2 Tubing: ASTM B 251 or ASTM B 251M.4.3.3 The axis of tensile specimens shall be located approximately midway between center and surface of bars and rods over 1.50 inches (38.1 mm) in nominal diameter
24、 or distance between parallel sides.4.3.4 Specimens for embrittlement testing shall be full cross-section of the product and shall have length of approximately 6 inches (152 mm) or twice the diameter or least distance between parallel sides, whichever is greater.4.4 Reports:The vendor of the product
25、 shall furnish with each shipment a report showing the results of tests on each lot to determine conformance to the technical requirements of this specification. This report shall include the purchase order number, lot number, AMS 4625G, size, and quantity.4.5 Resampling and Retesting: If any specim
26、en used in the above tests fails to meet the specified requirements, disposition of the product may be based on the results of testing three additional specimens for each original nonconforming specimen. Failure of any retest specimen to meet the specified requirements shall be cause for rejection o
27、f the product represented. Results of all tests shall be reported.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY: 5.1 Identification:Individual pieces or bundles shall have attached a durable tag or label marked with not less than the purchase order number, AMS 4625G, lot number, and nominal size, or shall be boxed an
28、d the box marked with the same information.5.2 Packaging:5.2.1 The product shall be prepared for shipment in accordance with commercial practice and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the handling, packaging, and transportation of the product to ensure carrier acceptan
