SCOPE1.1 FormThis specification covers a

6、corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of sheet and strip.1.2 ApplicationThese products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength up to 1500 F (816 C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 F (982 C), but usage is not limited to such applications. Parts may be formed and

7、 then heat treated to improve strength at elevated temperatures.2. Purchaser reserves the right to sample and to perform any confirmatory testing deemed necessary to ensure that the product conforms to specified requirements.4.2 Classification of TestsAll technical requirements except cobalt analysis (See 3.1.1) are acceptance tests and shall be

27、 performed on each heat or lot as applicable.4.3 Sampling and TestingShall be in accordance with AMS2371.SAE AMS5541G Page 5 of 54.4 ReportsThe vendor of the product shall furnish with each shipment a report showing the results of tests for chemical composition of each heat and for tensile propertie

28、s as annealed, bending, hardness and tensile properties after precipitation heat treatment of each lot, and stating that the product conforms to the other technical requirements. This report shall include the purchase order number, heat and lot numbers, AMS5541G, size, and quantity.4.5 Resampling an

29、d RetestingShall be in accordance with AMS2371.5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY5.1 IdentificationShall be in accordance with AMS2807. 5.2 PackagingThe product shall be prepared for shipment in accordance with commercial practice and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the ha

30、ndling, packaging, and transportation of the product to ensure carrier acceptance and safe delivery.6. ACKNOWLEDGMENTA vendor shall mention this specification number and its revision letter in all quotations and when acknowledging purchase orders.7. REJECTIONSProduct not conforming to this specifica

31、tion, or to modifications authorized by purchaser, will be subject to rejection.8.
