ALL QUALIFICATION INSPECTION TESTS REQUIR

16、ED BY AS5692 SHALL BE PERFORMED EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING CHANGES. TABLE V INITIAL QUALIFICATION TESTING SHALL INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL GROUP WITH 5 SAMPLES OF EACH RATING. EACH OF THESE SAMPLES SUBJECTED TO THE TESTS IN TABLE V AND SHALL NOT BE SUBJECTED TO TEST GROUP I. THESE TESTS SHALL BE PERFORMED

17、AS FOLLOWS: AFTER THE CIRCUIT BREAKER HAS BEEN CARRYING THE MINIMUM LIMIT OF ULTIMATE TRIP CURRENT FOR THE SPECIFIED TEST CONDITIONS, THE CURRENT SHALL BE INCREASED AT A RATE OF 2% OF CURRENT PER 5 MINUTES UNTIL TRIPPING OCCURS OR UNTIL THE MAXIMUM LIMIT OF ULTIMATE TRIP CURRENT IS REACHED FOR THESE

18、 CONDITIONS. IF THE MAXIMUM LIMIT OF ULTIMATE TRIP CURRENT IS REACHED BEFORE TRIPPING OCCURS, THE CURENT SHALL BE HELD AT THE VALUE FOR 55 MINUTES, DURING WHICH TRIPPING MUST OCCUR. AFTER COMPLETION OF TESTING, EACH SAMPLE MUST BE TESTED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF GUILLOTINE TESTING PER AS5692 PARA

19、GRAPH 4.7.7.6.1 SOURCE A, CIRCUIT 2. THE AFCB SHALL PROVIDE GROUNDING VIA CADMIUM* PLATE PER QQ-P-416 TYPE II, CLASS 3 EXCEPT THAT THE CHROMATE SHALL BE BLACK.3. PROPER ORIENTATION OF THE AFCB CAN BE CONFIRMED BY THE POWER ON LED. THE LED SHALL REMAIN ILLUMINATED WHEN THERE IS VOLTAGE PRESENT AT THE

20、 LINE TERMINAL OF THE AFCB DEVICE AND THE AFCB IS CLOSED. IF THE AFCB IS ORIENTATED PROPERLY OPENING THE AFCB SHALL EXTINGUISH THE LED. REVERSE INSTALLATION IS PERMISSIBLE (SEE REQUIREMENT 4). 21、. REVERSE INSTALLATION CRITERIA NUMBER 1, PER PARAGRAPH 4.7.26 OF AS5692, SHALL BE MET TO DEMONSTRATE FUNCTIONALITY IN THE CASE OF REVERSE INSTALLATION. 5. AS A RESULT OF A THERMAL TRIP, ONLY THE THERMAL INDICATOR SHALL BE DISPLAYED. 6. AS A RESULT OF AN ARC FAULT TRIP, THE YELLOW AND WHITE THERMAL

22、INDICATORS SHALL BE DISPLAYED. 7. PERFORMANCE OF THE YELLOW ARC FAULT TRIP INDICATION SHALL BE, 100 CYCLES MINIMUM, AS OBSERVED DURING ARC FAULT ENDURANCE TESTING. 8. THE AFCB SHALL INCLUDE AN INITIATED BUILT IN TEST (BIT) FEATURE THAT, WHEN ACTIVATED SHALL PROMPT THE ARC FAULT DETECTION CIRCUITRY A

23、ND TRIGGER THE ACTUATION MECHANISM TO OPEN THE CIRCUIT AND DISPLAY THE YELLOW ARC FAULT TRIP INDICATOR AND THE WHITE THERMAL TRIP INDICATOR. 9. THERE SHALL BE NO REQUIREMENTS FOR ARC FAULT FUNCTION COORDINATION BETWEEN DIFFERENT CURRENT RATINGS. 10. IF AN AFCB INCLUDES SOFTWARE, THE MANUFACTURERS PA

24、RT NUMBER MARKING SHALL IDENTIFY THE SOFTWARE PART NUMBER AND REVISION. 11. THE PART NUMBERS FOR CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SPECIFICATION SHALL CONFORM TO THE EXAMPLE BELOW. AS5692/3 5 L BASIC PARTAMPERAGEEXTRA LENGTH PUSHBUTTONWHEN A DESIGNATOR IS NOT APPLICABLE IT SHALL BE OMITTED FR

26、O SECTION 22. THE UNIT SHALL NOT TRIP OR OTHERWISE MALFUNCTION. TESTING SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN A LOADED AND UNLOADED CONDITION TO ASSURE WORST CASE CONDITIONS ARE EVALUATED. AFTER SIGNAL INJECTION EACH UNIT SHALL BE TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF GUILLOTINE TEST PER AS5692 SEC

27、TION 4.7.7.6.1, SOURCE A, CIRCUIT 2 13. GROUND SURVIVAL HIGH TEMPERATURE TEST (NON-OPERATING) AT 125C AND SHORT TIME OPERATING HIGH TEMPERATURE TEST AT 115C WILL BE CONDUCTED PER DO160 THE UNIT SHALL CARRY 80% OF THE RATED CURRENT AT 115C AND THE TIME WILL BE REDUCED TO 5 MINUTES, WHEN CONDUCTING SH

28、ORT TIME OPERATING HIGH TEMPERATURE TESTING. 14. LOOSE TERMINAL CONNECTION-VIBRATION TEST AS5692 4.7.7.6.3 DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS DEVICE. 15. IN ACCORDANCE WITH AS5692 PARAGRAPH 4.7.24.2 THE MAXIMUM CURRENT DURING ARC INTERUPTION SHALL NOT EXCEED 6 AMP.16. TEMPERATURE PRESSURE FUNCTIONALITY SHALL BE
