5、 DRIVE SHAFT: DETAILS OF DRIVE SHAFT AND SPLINE DESIGN DATA ARE SHOWN ON AS972. TRUE POSITION AND PERPENDICULARITY OF SPLINE SHALL BE MAINTAINED THROUGH 360 OF ROTATION. 4. LUBRICATION: SPLINE LUBRICATION SHALL BE PROVIDED. METHOD OF LUBRICATION SHALL BE SPECIFIED IN THE APPLICABLE POWER SOURCE MOD

6、EL SPECIFICATION OR BY THE PROCURING AGENCY. 5. OIL LEAKAGE: OIL LEAKAGE OUT OF THE DRIVE SHALL NOT EXCEED .003 L PER HOUR. PROVISIONS FOR DRAINING OIL FROM THE DRIVE CAVITY SHALL BE SUPPLIED. 6. ACCESSORY SPACE: SPACE AVAILABLE FOR ACCESSORIES SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE POWER SOURCE INSTALLATION DRAWING

7、 7. DIMENSIONS: ALL LINEAR DIMENSIONS ARE IN (MILLIMETERS) INCHES. DIMENSIONS AND TOLERANCES: ANSI Y14.5-1982. TRUE POSITION TOLERANCES ARE MAXIMUM MATERIAL CONDITION UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. 8. TOLERANCES: LINEAR ( 0.25) .010, ANGULAR 2 UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. 9. BREAK SHARP EDGES (0.08 TO

COUPLING: SEE AS976 AND AS977 FOR DETAILS OF V BAND COUPLING. 13. STUDS SHALL BE OMITTED WHEN USING A “V“ BAND OR THEY MAY BE REPLAC

DOWEL HOLE SHALL BE PROVIDED UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN THE APPLICABLE POWER SOURCE MODEL SPECIFICATION OR BY THE PROCURING AGENCY. 15. DESIGNATION: THE AS NUMBER WITH DASH NUMBER DEFINES THE CONFIGURATION OF THE DRIVE. EXAMPLE: AS969 - 2 IS A (127.000) 5.000 BC ROUND QAD DRIVE WITH A (30.480) 1.200 P.D. OUTPUT SPLINE. 16. REFERENCE DOCUMENTS ARE THOSE IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF ISSUANCE OF THIS DOCUMENT.
