31、uthority of a Notified Product Certification Body1:1) type testing of the product;2) inspection of the factory and factory production control;3) continuous/periodic surveillance, assessment and approval of the factory production control.ZA.2.2 Evaluation of conformityThe evaluation of conformity of
32、point smoke detectors covered by this European Standard shall be by the following:a) Type testingType testing of the product shall be carried out in accordance with the clauses shown in Table ZA.1. Theproducts tested shall be representative of the manufacturers normal production with regard to their
33、construction, operation and calibration. Tests previously performed in accordance with the provisions of thisstandard may be taken into account providing that they were made to the same system of attestation ofconformity on the same product or products of similar design, construction and functionali
34、ty, such that theresults may be considered applicable to the product in question. Wherever a change, for example in theproduct design, materials or supplier of the components or of the production process occurs, which couldchange significantly one or more of the characteristics, the type testing sha
35、ll be repeated for the relevantproduct performance.b) Factory production controlThe manufacturer shall establish, document and maintain a permanent factory production control system toensure that the products placed on the market conform with the stated performance characteristics. Thefactory produc
36、tion control system shall consist of procedures, regular inspections and tests and/orassessments and the use of the results to control incoming materials or components, equipment, theproduction process and the product.The production control procedure shall be adequately extensive and detailed so tha
37、t the conformity of theproducts is made apparent to the manufacturer and so that irregularities can be detected at the earliestpossible stage.A factory production control system conforming with the requirements of EN ISO 9001, and made specific tothe requirements of this standard, should be consider
38、ed to satisfy the above requirements.The production control procedure shall be recorded in a manual, which shall be made available forinspection.The factory production control shall be recorded. These records shall be available for inspection and shallinclude at least the following:1) identification

41、tive 93/68/EEC) shall be placed on the product and beaccompanied byi. the identification number of the Notified Product Certification Body;ii. the number of the EC certificate of conformity.The CE marking symbol shall in addition be shown on the accompanying commercial documentation supplementedbya)
42、 the identification number of the Notified Product Certification Body;b) the name or identifying mark and registered address of the manufacturer;c) the last two digits of the year in which the marking was affixed;d) the number of the EC certificate of conformity;e) the reference to this European Sta
43、ndard (EN 54-7);f) the description of the construction product (Point type smoke detector for fire detection and fire alarmsystems for buildings);g) the type/model designation of the product;h) the data required by 4.10 or a reference to a document, which shall be uniquely identifiable and available

This declaration shall include:the name and address of
