TIAEIA INTERIM STANDARDS TIAEIA Interim Standards contain information deemed to be of technical value to the industry, and are published at the request of the originating Committee without necessarily following

6、 the rigorous public review and resolution of comments which is a procedural part of the development of a TIA/EIA Standard. TIAEIA Interim Standards should be reviewed on an annual basis by the formulating Committee and a decision made on whether to proceed to develop a TIA/EIA Standard on this subj

7、ect. TIAEL4 Interim Standards must be cancelled by the Committee and removed from the TIAEIA Standards Catalog before the end of their third year of existence. Publication of this TMIA Interim Standard for trial use and comment has been approved by the Telecommunications Industry Association. Distri

8、bution of this TIAEIA Interim Standard for comment shall not continue beyond 36 months from the date of publication. It is expected that following this 36 month period, this TIAEIA Interim Standard, revised as necessary, will be submitted to the American National Standards Institute for approval as

39、. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .62 Automatic Code Gapping V List of Tables TINEINIS-786 FOREWORD This Interim Standard presents a recommended plan for the implementation of the Automatic Code Gapping (ACG) network capability for use in the Wireless Radiotelephone Service. Automatic Code Gap

40、ping (ACG) is used to reduce the rate at which a network entity (NE), typically an MSC, sends service request messages to a service control function (SCF). ACG may be initiated in response to an SCF Overload condition and adjusted based on SCF congestion level. ACG may also be initiated for Service

41、Management independently of SCF overload. The SCF can specify that ACG controls be applied to query messages destined for a specific Point Code and Subsystem Number or for an SCCP Global Title. 48、ation of Automatic Code Gapping (ACG) for use in the Wireless Radiotelephone Service. ACG is used to reduce the rate at which a network entity, typically an MSC, sends service request messages to a service control function (SCF) network entity. ACG controls can be applied automatically by the SCF wh

49、en it is in overload. ACG controls can also be applied by an SCF for purposes of SCF service management. 1.1 GENERAL This document describes the ACG network capabilities and the intersystem operations to enable a wireless system to use ACG. 1.2 OBJECTIVE The purpose of this document is to describe the ACG network capabilities, and to specify the operation of ACG so that wireless systems can use ACG. 1.3 ORGANIZATION This document is organized as follows: Section 2 provides the modifications and additions to TIMEIA-664 “Cellular Features Description”
