46、sful deployment of the Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) Network. The Plan is constrained by two main factors: mobility and security. The CDPD Network could be considered a large Internet, were it not for mobility. To account for this, more sophisticated equipment and routing is necessary. Since t

47、his will be the first large-scale network to provide for mobility, there will be challenges. This Part addresses as many of these as possible. in addition, there are suggested areas where further study is needed. 3012-1 TIAEIAKSB-87-3012 IP and CLNP Routing Architecture and Addressing Plan 2 Overall

48、 Standard Subdomain Network Interconnect Architecture 2.1 Backbone Configuration-Allocation of Service Provider Assets The CDPD Network will be not be a singular CDPD Network backbone, but many smaller backbones for each CDPD Service Provider. There can be interconnection between the CDPD Service Pr

49、oviders by cooperative agreement. A simple illustration of how the various network entities interconnect in providing service to a visiting Mobile End System (h4-ES) will show the basic layout that a CDPD Service Provider will need to develop (see Figure 3012-1). To create the CDPD Network, Border Intermediate Systems (BISS) for each routing domain must be installed. This would comprise a backbone of the CDPD Network. Adjoining Service Providers must cooperate in order to establish a link between their routing domains. The CDPD Network Operations Center (NOC) will
