、“. This addendum specifies the technical and editorial changes required to include Trunked Console Subsystems as specified in TIA-102.BACA-2, April 2007, in the scope of this document. Addendum Scope This addendum introduces the required changes to TIA-102.CACB, April 2007, “Project 25 Inter-RF Subs

、ystem Interface Performance Recommendations for Voice Services“ to add the Trunked Console Subsystem to its scope. In relation to its consoles, a Console Subsystem is considered to be a Serving RFSS or both a Serving and Home RFSS that connects to other RFSSs using the ISSI as defined in TIA-102.BAC

、A and TIA-102.BACA-2. As defined in addendum 1 to TIA-102.CACA April 2007, “Project 25 Inter-RF Subsystem Interface Measurement Methods for Voice Services“, if approved to be published as TIA-102.CACA-1, some timing parameters do not apply when the source or destination SU is a console. This addendu

、m identifies the areas where these changes affect the recommended performance parameters. This document will only include information relevant to the above-listed functionality. The reader is referred to TIA-102.CACB, April 2007 for all other pertinent information. The next complete revision of TIA-

、102.CACB will incorporate the changes contained in this addendum. Care must be taken when incorporating changes in this addendum to avoid conflicts with any changes made by other addendums that are incorporated at the same time. TIA-102.CACB consistently describes the source and destination of a cal

、l to be an SU (Subscriber Unit). With the addition of support for consoles, an SU participating in call can now be a console. No attempt has been made to modify the text every time the term SU is used. Changes to TIA-102.CACB for this feature are described in this document starting at Section I. Tex

Note that if a section contains subsections, and neither the section nor its subsections change, only the section will be identified in this document. The headings of sections with changes are

、 shown in bold font. Note that section numbers identified in this addendum directly translate to section numbers in the TIA-102.CACB, April 2007, Project 25 Inter-RF Subsystem Interface Performance Recommendations for Voice Services“ document. The objective and purpose of this document are to specify minimum levels of performance for ISSI voice services (IVS) that are used in providing P25 wide area voice services.1The intended users of this document include P25 voice service providers, equipment ma

、nufacturers, and end users. This document may be used (1) by service providers in the planning, development, and assessment of P25 voice services that meet end user performance needs, (2) by equipment manufacturers as performance metrics that will affect equipment design, and (3) by end users in evaluating performance. Note: The scope of these performance recommendations is limited to systems based on terrestrial IP backbone networks. The scope does not include systems that use satellite links within their IP backbone networks. The use of satellite links is lef
