34、Ballot resolved TIA-1092 1 1 Introduction 1 Introduction 1 To provide the roaming MS with Simple IPv41based access across cdma20002packet data 2 systems which are managed by different administrative domains, an inter-working scheme is 3 required. The inter-working scheme allows the home domain to co

35、ntrol the delivery of services to 4 the roaming MS. A home domain control model for Simple IP based access enables the roaming 5 MS with home domain access, with minimum requirements in the foreign domain to which the 6 roaming MS is connected. This specification describes an inter-working scheme ba

36、sed on the 7 tunneling of the Simple IP packet data traffic of the roaming MS, between a foreign domain and a 8 home domain. 9 1.1 Scope 10 The scope of this specification includes tunneling support for the Simple IP packet data subscriber 11 roaming across cdma2000 packet data systems that are admi

37、nistered by different service 12 providers. In this specification, the tunneling scheme is specified in the context of layer-two 13 tunneling. Other tunneling schemes are not precluded. 14 15 1Simple IPv4 will be referred to as Simple IP 2cdma2000is the trademark for the technical nomenclature for c
