The ratio (in dB) of the sideband power of a signal, measured in a given bandwidth at 2 a given frequency offset from the cente

41、r frequency of the same signal, to the total inband 3 power of the signal. For Forward Link Only system, the total in-band power of the signal is 4 measured in the Forward Link Only bandwidth around the center frequency of the signal. 5 dBm. A measure of power expressed in terms of its ratio (in dB)

42、 to one milliwatt. 6 dBm/Hz. A measure of power spectral density. The ratio, dBm/Hz, is the power in one Hz 7 of bandwidth, where power is expressed in units of dBm. 8 dBW. A measure of power expressed in terms of its ratio (in dB) to one watt. 9 Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP). The produc

43、t of the power supplied to the 10 antenna and the antenna gain in a direction relative to an isotropic antenna. 11 Effective Radiated Power (ERP). The product of the power supplied to the antenna and 12 the antenna gain relative to a half-wave dipole in a given direction. 13 EIRP. See Effective Isot

45、he total number of sub-carriers and the sub-carrier 19 spacing. 20 Forward Link Only Device (FD). A device that can be activated to receive multicast 21 transmissions from the Forward Link Only network. 22 Forward Link Only Network (FN). The collection of infrastructure equipment that 23 multicasts

46、the overhead information and content associated with the services offered on the 24 Forward Link Only system. 25 Forward Link Only RF Channel. A Forward Link Only RF Channel denotes a specific 26 combination of RF channel bandwidth and carrier center frequency that is used to transmit 27 a waveform

47、compliant with the Forward Link Only Air Interface specification. 28 Hz. Hertz. 29 kHz. Kilohertz (103Hertz). 30 MHz. Megahertz (106Hertz). 31 ms. Millisecond 32 N0.
