This document has been created to further the objectives outlined in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated December, 1993 between APCO/NASTD/FED and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). The MOU provides that APCO/NASTD/FED will devise a Common Syst

24、em Standard for digital public safety communications (the Standard), and that TIA shall, to the extent TIA members are willing, provide technical assistance in the development of documentation for the Standard. This document has been developed with inputs from the TR8 Mobile and Personal Private Rad

25、io Standards Committee, the Trunking and Conventional Control Subcommittee (TR-8.10), and TIA Industry members. This document is being published because it is felt that there is an urgent need for technical information on the emerging digital techniques for Land Mobile Radio Service. This document d

26、escribes a numeric identifier for use in fireground applications where the mode of communication is conventional analog simplex (talk-around) utilizing the Project 25 Common Air Interface. These definitions are necessary to ensure interoperability of radio units. As other documents describing the co

27、nventional and trunking protocols are developed, this document will be subject to change. All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure accuracy, but it should be understood that conformance tests remain to be developed and proven. 33、log) Fireground applications where the mode of communication is conventional analog simplex. Fireground is radio-to-radio communications between firefighters and the Incident Commander, other responding agencies and possibly, the dispatchers on the wide-area system. Fireground features operate on a

34、Conventional P25 RF channels in order to send the digital data packets between end points. While it is possible to program the Fireground channel that is used for tactical communications to operate in the analog voice mode, the TIA-102 Common Air Interface (Um) capability is required to enable digit

35、al data packets (e.g., radio IDs) to be sent on the RF channel. Details are provided in the “Document Scope” section below. 2 Scope This document defines the Tactical Public Safety TSBK message which enables subscriber units which support analog voice and P25 conventional CAI to transmit numeric IDs

Source Address This field identifies the individual subscriber unit that originates or is responding to the transaction. It is equal to the working unit

42、 ID (WUID) of the originating subscriber unit. Target Address This field identifies the individual subscriber unit that terminates or is to respond to the transaction.
