1、 TIA-664.509-B (Revision of TIA-664.509-A) October 2007Wireless Features Description: Calling Number Identification Restriction (CNIR) ANSI/TIA-664.509-B-2007 APPROVED: OCTOBER 12, 2007 REAFFIRMED: JANUARY 24, 2013 NOTICE TIA Engineering Standards and Publications are designed to serve the public in

2、terest through eliminating misunderstandings between manufacturers and purchasers, facilitating interchangeability and improvement of products, and assisting the purchaser in selecting and obtaining with minimum delay the proper product for their particular need. The existence of such Standards and

3、Publications shall not in any respect preclude any member or non-member of TIA from manufacturing or selling products not conforming to such Standards and Publications. Neither shall the existence of such Standards and Publications preclude their voluntary use by Non-TIA members, either domestically

By such action, TIA does not assume any liability to any patent owner, nor does it assume any obligation whatever to parties adopting the Standard or

This CNI may include one or two Calling Party Numbers (CPNs), a Calling Party Subaddress (CPS), Redirecting Numbers (RNs), and Redirecting Subaddresses (RSs). Subaddress information

25、is information other than the CPNs and Redirecting Number (RN) that identifies a particular party in a call. CNIR does not impact a subscribers ability to originate calls or to receive calls. Applicability to Telecommunications Services CNIR is applicable to voice telecommunications services. 1.1 No

26、rmal Procedure with Successful Outcome Authorization CNIR may be generally available or may be provided after prearrangement with the service provider. As a service provider option, CNIR may be offered with several subscription options. It is a service provider option as to how subscription options

27、are applied (e.g., per Directory Number and Bearer Service). The following table summarizes the subscription options: Table 1: CNIR Subscription Options Subscription Options Values CNIR Mode Not Subscribed. CNIR is inactive for all calls. 30、 Activation If subscribed to the Permanently Restricted CNIR Mode, CNIR is activated upon authorization. If subscribed to Temporary CNIR Mode with a Presentation Restricted Default, CNIR is activated upon authorization. Temporary Activation With a Call Setup Request (Per Call Blocking) CNIR may be a

Alternatively: *FC + termination address + SEND is possible, if a fixed length temporary activation feature code is distinct from the deactivation feature code(s). 35、he activation feature code(s). If the temporary deactivation is accepted, the system may indicate success with feature confirmation treatment and the call is allowed to proceed. At the completion of the call, CNIR shall resume the default state. Invocation CNIR is invoked for any calls originated by

36、 a subscriber or redirected on behalf of a subscriber and that subscriber has CNIR active. Normal Operation with Successful Outcome When the CNIR service is invoked, the originating network provides the destination network with a notification that the CNI is not allowed to be presented to the called

37、 party. The destination network should indicate presentation restricted to the called party who has subscribed to the CNIP service. In this situation the CNI is not presented to the called party or to the called party station. When a call is forwarded or redirected for a subscriber with CNIR active,

38、 the CNI that applies to that subscriber shall indicate presentation restricted. This CNI may include CPNs, a CPS, RNs and RSs. The original CNI, if included with the redirected call, shall include its original restrictions unaltered. The CNI may be stored by the terminating network for other featur

39、es or services. The stored CNI shall preserve the presentation restriction indications. A stored CNI that indicates restricted presentation shall not be presented to the called party or to the called party station. Call Detail Record The system should record call detail information for the following

40、: a. CNIR activation activities and events. b. CNIR deactivation activities and events. c. Originating and redirecting call records should indicate if CNIR was used. See DMH for the specific information to be included for each element. Numbers indicating presentation restricted should not be present
