The existence of such Standards and Publications shall not in any respect preclude any member or non-member of TIA from manufacturing or selling products not conforming

It 3 extends the Card Application Toolkit 11 to enable operation in cdma20002. CCAT is a set of 4 commands and proced

48、ures for use during the network operation phase of CDMA, in addition to 5 those defined in 13. Specifying the interface is to ensure interoperability between a UICC (R-6 UIM or CSIM) and an ME independently of the respective manufacturers and operators. CCAT 7 will allow Service Providers to offer u

49、nique services to their subscribers by placing applications 8 they have designed (or third party applications) on the UICC that would function on any 9 particular manufacturers ME that supports the Toolkit features. 10 These requirements are expressed as additions to current release of 1.
